Tips for the big day

• Get plenty of sleep the night before – sometimes easier said then done. With nerves and bubbles of excitement preventing you from a goods night sleep, try to get as much rest as you can in the days before your big day to give you a fresh glow.

• Drink plenty of water in the weeks before to ensure clear, fresh, hydrated skin.

• Try a cleansing scrub of Cetaphil and Bi-Carb soda once a week. This is a fantastic scrub and will give your skin a great prep for make-up.

Spray tans are a great way of getting that summer glow, with out the harmful sun damage. Check out my Spray tan specials for you and your bridal party for the big day.

• Don’t forget nice nails for those up close shots of your new ring and the cutting of the cake. It's also a good idea to have a bottle of the colour you are wearing for any touch ups and a nail file and nail polish remover always comes in handy.

• In my experience most brides take up to half an hour to get into their wedding finery. From getting into your dress and being buttoned or laced up, underwear, shoes, to your accessories and veil. So make sure you allow for this when booking in your cars and photographer.

• Make sure you have something to eat – you may not feel like it, but it can be a long time from breakfast to lunch (even dinner).  You may want to organise to have some nibbles while you are having your photos with the bridal party after the ceremony.
